on the gums is often caused by excess melanin (genetics), leading to a brown appearance. Gingival depigmentation, also known as gum whitening or gum bleaching, uses advanced laser technology to safely remove excess melanin and the cells responsible for its production.
The procedure is typically painless, requiring only a topical anaesthetic. With the latest laser technology, recovery time is minimal, and the treatment usually takes just 30 to 40 minutes. In about 5% of cases, a second session may be necessary, which is offered at a reduced rate. Results can last for several years with proper aftercare.

How long does the treatment take?
1. We initially carry out a detailed assessment to determine the amount and type of pigmentation that is needed for the gum bleaching.
2. We use the latest in Diode laser technology to ensure minimal discomfort and aftercare. In most cases, it is finished in just one 30-minute appointment. The treatment may require a local anaesthetic injection but often our concentrated gels make the procedure as comfortable as possible with a short recovery time with manageable discomfort.
3. As new tissue is created during healing, it tends to be pink rather than brown. Dependent on the depth of pigmentation additional appointments may be needed.
4. Patients who are treated with such a soft tissue laser can expect minor discomfort and no complications after the treatment. Patients with very sensitive gums may experience some discomfort for a short period of time.

I cannot recommend this place any more! I had big gaps between my tooth with weird structured front tooth. Waldron Dental Clinic team was able to close all gaps and give me the natural Hollywood smile.
